Very important to read, League rules are as follows: Unique Vending Dart League RULES AND REGULATIONS **NEW RULES - Unless deemed by Dale & Cathy no make up matches will be allowed to be played after the last night of the season. That means you should plan your make up matches before the last night of the season! ***If your league fee's are not paid up and your team is in the red at the end of the season you and your partner(s) will not be allowed to play in our dart leagues until you are paid up. No teams will be added after the captain's meeting and at least 1 person from a team MUST attend the captain's meeting or that team will be dropped and new schedules will be made. CAPTAINS RULES - It is mandatory that team captains attend the captains meetings. If for some reason they can't then they must have one of their players attend for them. They should know the rules and also know how to keep score properly. Home team captains are responsible for accuracy of score sheets and all league fees. MEMBERSHIP - There is a one time $5.00 fee for UNIQUE VENDING DART LEAGUE membership. This is due by the third week of league along with one of the white membership cards filled out completely. (It is very important that if anyone has change of address or changes their phone number that they fill out another card and write on it "new phone number or new address" on it) Anyone who comes in as a sub and plays more than 2 matches must pay for a membership. LEAGUE FEE'S - League fee's are as follows: 1.) Doubles League - $12.00 per team ($6.00 per player) each week. 2.) 2.) Cricket League - $20.00 per team ($5.00 per player) each week. 3.) 301lCricket League - $24.00 per team ($6.00 per player) each week. NDA FEE'S - There is a once a year fee of $7.00 for the NDA Association. We will let you know when this fee is due. STARTING TIME - League starting time for Sunday night league is 6:30PM and all other nights are 7:30PM. There is a 15-minute grace period and a 15-minute sportsmanship period. WARM UP DARTS - You are allowed a maximum of 9 darts thrown per person before your next game. You are not allowed at any time to throw any darts on another board if you are in a game. STARTING A MATCH - The visiting team always has the option of which board to play on. If there is more than one match being played the visiting team captains will toss a coin to determine what board their match will be played on. In all 301 and 501 doubles matches player positions are as stated on score sheet. You must cork to see who goes first in all 301 singles and all cricket games. A coin toss determines which player in 301 singles or which team in cricket has the option to cork first. The losing team of the previous game has the option of corking first in the next game. (A double bull beats a single bull when corking) KEEPING SCORE - It is the responsibility of the home team captain to keep score. If not filled out correctly or unable to read they will not be entered that week. If you missed the scores and no one has entered the next game on the dartboard you can spell out FEATS and hit ENTER on dartboard and the scores will come back up. (This is for the new cougar eye boards) At the end of the match both captains need to sign the score sheet and the envelope. The home team captain is responsible for all money put in the envelope at the end of the match. If it is short it will be deducted from the home team and if it is over it will be added to the home team. SCORE SHEETS - You MUST put last names on score sheets for all subs and new players. Without them we will not be able to enter their scores. When keeping score for the double's league remember to enter player's names on the back page in the same order as the front page. You can have the players play in any position. Circle the winning player on all matches especially if it is a handicapped league. On the all singles and cricket games make sure you put what position each player plays. If a player takes out a game and was frozen please make a note that that happened. If I see a L under a team where someone’s score is 301 and a W under a team that doesn’t show 301 for any player and no player is circled I don’t know if it is an error or not.
MACHINE ABUSE - Any league player that hits, kicks, pushes or causes the dart machine to move during a league game will cause his or her team to forfeit that game. If that player does it a second time it will cause his or her team to forfeit that game and the rest of that dart match. This is to be noted on the score sheet. If that player does it a third time that player will not be allowed to play for the rest of the season. Any player that causes a machine to malfunction or stop working will lose that game and the match will move to another machine and offending team will be responsible for remaining quarters to finish match. SUBS - A sub may be used as long as: 1.) They do not play on another team in the same division. 2.) A sub must have the same or lower ppd or mpr as the person they are playing for. 3.) If a sub is brought in that has never played for UNIQUE VENDING and throws way over what the player they subbed for does could be cause for forfeit of all games the sub played in. 4). A sub may be used in the last two weeks of the season only if they are a UNIQUE VENDING registered player. (Any team using an unregistered player will forfeit all games the sub played in.) If a sub cannot be found you may play the match using the 151 rule. In 301 the absent player's score is automatically marked down to 151 and the absent player's partner must go out before the opposing score falls to 150 or less. In 501 and in cricket you must skip the missing player's turn.
# OF PLAYERS ON A TEAM - It is ok to have 3 players on a doubles team or 5 players on a four person team. You must mark which games they will play on the score sheet before starting the match. MAKE UP MATCHES - If for any reason a match is not going to be played it is the responsibility of the team captain whose team can't play to call the office or the person running that league to let them know that there won't be an envelope to pick up that night. If you do not do this and we go to that location to pick up the envelope and there is not one there your team will be charged a fine of $10.00.The team captain of the team requesting a makeup match is responsible for calling the other team captain to reschedule and calling the office to let them know when it will be played. The match must be played at original location of the scheduled match and must be played before you play that team again. FORFEITS - If the other team does not show up for the match or arrives after 7:00pm for Sunday leagues and after 8:00pm for all other leagues a forfeit can be called. A team must give another team plenty of time in advance if they are not going to be able to play. The score for a forfeit game is as follows: The team forfeiting will get 0 wins and 12 loses or 14 loses depending on what league it is, and the other team will get 8 wins 4 loses or 9 wins 5 loses depending on what league it is. When calling a forfeit an envelope must be turned in with a reason for the forfeit. The team calling the forfeit MUST also pay the league fees for that night. The office will determine any forfeit called during the last two weeks of season if it is legitimate or not. PROTESTS - Any and all protests must be submitted on our protest form enclosed in your dart packet. Also the front of the envelope must be marked "protested match". The office will determine if the protest is justified or not and make a decision on that match. Absolutely NO VERBAL PROTESTS will be accepted. PROPOSAL FORMS – If anyone has a complaint, suggestion, question, compliment or other please fill out on of our proposal forms and put it in an envelope to be turned in with score sheet that night. TEAM MONEY - Any team not having paid all their league fees in full by the last night of the season MUST contact the office or they WILL NOT be eligible for team trophies, individual awards and team money. If a team is in position to receive a trophy and are not current with their league fees they will forfeit that position and the next team with the most wins will receive trophies for that position. NO ACCEPT IONS! All league fees must be paid by the last night of league. This is the captain's responsibility and the league coordinator will make no acceptations any more. We do not condone any players not paying their league fees, but if the team is ok with it then we will deduct what is owed at the end of the season from their winnings. However if a player does not pay on a doubles league and the other player is not ok with this then that player will not be allowed to play in any tournaments (including tournaments outside of Unique Vending by Dale) until they make it right with the other player. AWARDS - Teams will receive $1.00 for each win in the doubles leagues and $1.25 for each win in 4 person teams. Leagues having seven or more teams will be awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies and any league having six or less teams will be awarded 1st and 2nd place trophies. The sponsor for the 1st place teams will receive a trophy also. There will also be Top Gun and MVP trophies for each league. A league must have at least 3 fulltime female players to have a ladies Top Gun or MVP trophy. You cannot miss more than 1 week to be eligible for a Top Gun or MVP trophy. TROPHY PRESENTATION - At the end of each league season we will have a trophy party and tournament for all players who played in that league. Trophy parties will be held in each area soon after leagues end. There will be food, trophies, team winnings and dart tournament. Make sure all players attend. You must be there to receive any trophies or team winnings, if not you will have to contact the office and make arrangements to pick up. There will be no giving trophies or team winnings to someone else to give to you. These parties are for you so please come. CONDUCT & SPORTSMANSHIP - If any conflicts happen between any players you are to contact Dale or Cathy immediately! Distracting behavior by opponents while a player is throwing is not allowed. (trash talking, etc.) Treat other players the way you would like to be treated. GENERAL RULES - It is the player's own responsibility to see that the dart machine displays his or her player number before throwing any darts. Any darts thrown before the dart machine changes players will not count and cannot be thrown over. If someone throws out of order there is a special feature on the Sheltie boards called ROLL BACK. What this means is that you can roll back the score on the dartboard to before the player through out of order. What you do is put in 2225 ENTER on the dartboard and you will see a + and a – and can go back up to 4 players. (12 darts) On a thrown dart, the dart must make contact with the board before the player’s foot makes contact with the floor in front of the throw line. A player must receive a warning from the opposing captain. If the problem continues contact Dale or Cathy. If a player throws out of turn and ends the game on that turn, their team loses that game. If a player walks out in the middle of a game that team loses that game. If that player does not return to finish that match then you must play the 151 rule. You can not pull someone else in to play for that person. THANK YOU – We want to thank you for playing in our dart leagues and we want everyone to have fun and enjoy playing.
